A bit about Coatesville
Today it is a vibrant community with a wonderful rural school, still holding its annual agricultural day despite the city closing in. The school and community pool is an enormous asset and the community hall has been wonderfully restored and is lovingly maintained.
The hall is a centre not only for community activity (the market, Garden Club, Womens Institute, scouts and cubs) but also a popular venue for weddings and parties.
The market which is held on the first Sunday each month plus two markets in the summer has proved to be extremely popular, not only with locals but also with visitors coming from far and wide.
