Description
The Cockatiel Color Palette is a valuable tool for hobby breeders, professionals, and anyone else who is interested in cockatiel color mutations and inheritance. The centerpiece of the app is the Virtual Breeder, a genetic calculator which eliminates the need for complicated hand-drawn diagrams. Just enter the parents mutations, and the Virtual Breeder lists all possible chick types, including splits, crossovers, and the probability of each types occurrence in the nest box.
The app also includes basic information about genetics, a profile of each North American color mutation, and answers to more complicated questions about inheritance.
