But this flash card apps turns traditional into sensational! What is this color? Tap to flip the card to see the color word and hear it pronounced; swipe to move to the next one. Do the same thing for shapes. Or play a simple but delightful game to help little ones identify 12 basic colors and 9 basic shapes. Twirling shapes and objects burst rapid-fire across the screen. What is purple? Hurry! Tap the correct match before they fall out of view. Choose wrong? The correct pick will be displayed and pronounced. Along the way, get audio encouragement such as “Way to go!” and “Good job!” along with gentle corrective feedback to help redirect to the right choice.
