A simple compass that is easy to read and indicates heading, cardinal direction, and magnetic north. Includes flashlight for dark. Download now in case you need a compass when hiking, camping, backpacking, or road trips! Its great for both land and marine orienteering. Simple and easy to use. Compass Heading displays only the essential information you need for orienteering: - Accurate current direction indicator - Degree heading in large font - Arrow points North - Rotating compass rose - Red background when aligned with magnetic north - Flashlight for night time use Note: App will not have full functionality on devices without a magnetometer, such as the iPod Touch 5th generation or below. AVOID metallic objects and magnetic cases when using this app.

Magnetic compass

This compass was to have both true north in a black screen and magnetic north in the red screen. It will only show the black screen ( true north). I cannot find how to change to magnetic north. The reason I downloaded this app was for the magnetic north. This is no different than all the other compass apps. This only rates one star.
