Countdown Professional at Mac App Store analyse

It’s almost free, modern, has all featches that I need. Very good design. Thing that I can visualize the time by cercule is asome.

This app is just what I was looking for: a way to keep me motivated to finish my online courses. Now everytime I open the lid on my MBPr, I can see how much time I have left before missing my goal date.

Has enough features to be exactly what I need! I love how I can customize it! Makes countdowns so much easier on me!

In my senior year of college, I tend to lose track of how much time I have for assignments (my thesis being a big one this year). Just bought the app yesterday, and I LOVE IT. I love that the countdown “blocks” STAY ON THE SCREEN so that it’s really easy to have them there as a constant reminder without having to open the app specifically to check it, also that I have the option to have them always at the front, at front when app is active, or just always hanging out on the desktop in the background. I have not had one reach the “day of” yet to give me a notification but honestly with them there all the time I’m sure even if the notifications weren’t there it would be fine because I see the countdowns numerous times a day. One thing I am confused about, on the circle with the countdown in it there is a bar that thickens the circle outline, for lack of better wording, and I have no idea what it means. There are some that I have with more time until the countdown is up than others but there is more of the circle with the thicker line on them, so it’s not a more visual representation of the countdown. Obviously not a huge issue as far as functionality goes, just a little confusing. OVERALL GREAT APP highly recommended!!!

From the menu bar you can select the preference and then select the Preference again. Once at that location you can select ‘Time Format’ which doesn’t change any thing. Other than that defect it seems to work as stated. BY THE WAY - there is a time that ends up in the bottom left of a finished TIMER but I will be darn if I can see what its used for other than a fixed point in time?????

Buy this app, set it for your 90th birthday. That’s what you have left (if things go very well). If you get extra, count it a gift. That’s how I use the app. A constant reminder to keep going because eventually the days run out. I only dropped off one star because it’s a little buggy putting the date into the app. If it gives you a hassle, just kill the window and start over and it seems to work perfectly. 365HealthStrategies Charles Runels, MD
