SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP CRM Integrated with iPhone. The CRM Suite is a tool developed by FIT to facilitate Sales Representatives and Account Managers who are constantly on the road. Everywhere they go, they require that all relevant Customer details, Sales Order and Invoice details are available on their iPhone to enable optimal service to the Customers. The CRM Suite is designed to integrate directly, online, real-time, with SAP ECC 6.0 or SAP CRM backend systems. The CRM Suite makes it possible to login directly into SAP ECC 6.0 or SAP CRM via the iPhone application, for example to display the customer contact list. Other information that can be retrieved from SAP is the customer balance, open sales orders and relevant open billing documents, dependent on the autorisations of the user. FIT has also realised integration with Google maps, allowing the Account Manager or Sales Representatives to navigate directly from the customer contact screen to Google maps to see the exact location of or the route to the customer. It is also possible to call the customer via this screen; by pressing the phone number of the customer, the iPhone will call the customer. To see the open sales orders of your customer, press the honeycomb with Sales Order and all the sales order information with quantity and product information is displayed on the Iphone. If the user has a comment on a sales order to report to the backoffice, this is enabled via the Mail button; the relevant sales order information is copied into the e-mail application of iPhone, additional comments can be added in the e-mail, and the e-mail is send to the backoffice. This application is developed to continue operating offline in case there is no UMTS or GPRS coverage, storing data locally and allowing the last stored data to be retrieved. The CRM Suite contains the basic reports for Sales Representatives and Account Managers, integrated with the Customer Master, Sales and Financial data from SAP. No middleware is required, standard SAP Netweaver components are used to realise direct integration with the iPhone or other Mobile phones, resulting in a very fast and flexible solution which is also upgrade-proof.
