Organised by the French Embassy of France in China, the Croisements Festival is celebrating its 10th consecutive edition in 2015. Created in the wake of the France-China Cultural Exchange Years (2003-2005) at the request of the President of the French Republic and the President of the Chinese Peoples Republic. It has evolved into the biggest French cultural festival abroad, and the biggest foreign cultural festival held in China. From 10 April to 10 July 2014, the Croisements Festival will play host to 100 events in more than 40 Chinese cities, and will invite close to 1000 artists engaging in encounters with over a million people.
