Scan, search, buy!

Cyclops is a handheld barcode scanner for the iPhone 3GS/4/4S/5. When you are on the go, you can scan barcodes on items you see and Cyclops will read them, and search for product and pricing information online from Amazon right away for you.

Once your item is scanned, its saved for you, and you can conveniently send an email with the item information, or view it online from Safari.

PLEASE NOTE: video barcode scanning for Cyclops requires the camera on the iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S, or 5 in order to work, older iPhone versions and devices without cameras can use the included keypad to enter the barcode manually.

Simply open up Cyclops and click the Scan button. Take a picture of the barcode in portrait mode, and Cyclops does the rest, identifying the item you are looking at and providing up to the minute product and pricing information from Amazon.

Hmm

Well that absolutely didnt work.

It works pretty well

Almost everything that I used it on worked fine. Just dont get too close

Doesnt work

It wont work!

Its a good start..

It recognized ALL of my electronic stuff(Wii, GH, 32" LCD, etc)...but regular household items were not being recognized..

Neat

Neat tho not sure what Ill use it for other than a cheap bar trick. Worked perfectly for me 32 3GS

You cant get too close!

It works as long as you dont get too close. Just do it like in the example they give you. Simple as that!

Works part of the time.

It works part of the time. It correctly identified some books and a box of crackers but not pop tarts. Its good for a 1.0 and free app. Its better than red laser!
