„Czas Kultury” jest pismem społeczno-kulturalnym, stawiającym sobie za cel krytyczną analizę i wartościującą prezentację nowych zjawisk w świecie współczesnej kultury na tle przemian społecznych. „Czas Kultury” wydawany jest od 1985 roku. Od grudnia 1999 roku przez Stowarzyszenie Czasu Kultury, które jest właścicielem praw do wydawania pisma.
e.CzasKultury.pl to internetowe rodzeństwo „Czasu Kultury”, magazynu społeczno-kulturalnego ukazującego się w Poznaniu nieprzerwanie od 1985 roku.
Czasopismo tworzone jest przez grupę entuzjastów kultury i pisania, pisania o kulturze. Grupa ta stawia sobie za cel dostarczanie Czytelnikom garści informacji o aktualnych wydarzeniach, miejscach, do których warto zaglądać, książkach, po które warto sięgać, muzyce, w której trzeba się zasłuchać. Nie stronimy od subiektywnych, autorskich ocen, świeżych spojrzeń oraz ożywczych oglądów.

Zależy nam na stałym angażowaniu się w to, co w kulturze fascynujące, a nie zawsze oczywiste na pierwszy rzut oka czy ucha.
Staramy się łączyć informacje o kulturze z podejściem indywidualnym, z perspektywami autorskimi. Nie stronimy od subiektywnych ocen czy kontrowersyjnych opinii.
