Description

Debts is a companion app for tracking debt on your road to financial freedom. Track what you owe, record payments and spending, get reminders from your payment schedule, and plan your payoff with the built-in estimator. Record detailed payment and spending transactions for accurate balances. A clear progress indicator keeps your payoff momentum going, while the payment schedule highlights upcoming due dates at a glance. Use the Payoff Plan to estimate total interest and your payoff date. Debts includes the popular debt snowball method, taught and endorsed by many financial professionals: you focus on one debt at a time in a chosen payoff order, and once a debt is cleared, its payment amount “snowballs” to the next. FEATURES * Payment progress indicators for easy tracking and motivation * Record payment and spending transactions for accurate balances * Quick view of upcoming scheduled payments * Timely due-date reminders with notifications * Payoff Plan estimator to support your payoff planning * Built-in debt snowball method for estimates and planning * Export reports with charts in CSV/PDF and open in third-party apps (e.g., Numbers, Dropbox) * Supports multiple currencies based on your device region settings (USD, EUR, JPY, and more) Debts is a universal app for iPhone and iPad. No sign-up. No ads. Your data stays on your device.

Hate this app. Just give me my $ back!

iBDSL · 15 years ago

You NEED to input something under "interest" in order to be able to click on the "DONE" button when adding new financials to your list. So apparently, ALL DEBTS MUST have an interest (%) charge, in order to be counted or added on anyones list??!

Needs a little more work

Needs a little more work · 15 years ago

This app would be great if it didnt freeze all the time. Youre not able to change the opening balance amount without having to either input a payment, or spending amount. If I made a mistake and needed to change the amount- it doesnt allow me an easy way to do so. A lot of things seemed locked in stone once you initially input your numbers, and the "done" button freezes up frequently. If the app worked the way its supposed to, it would be perfect. Hopefully an update is made to fix all the glitches. Design and concept has a lot of potential

Perfect app!

XU WEI · 14 years ago · v1.3.1

I spent whole day to review all the apps using snowball method. This is thr best one i see ever. I need to find something can customize the order of my all debts. Finally, this one made it. Other apps are slow or without custom order or not accuracy as this app. If this app can allow me input initial balance and current balance, that will be perfect!

Does the job very well indeed.

Ive tried a lot of these apps and Debts is still the one Im using to track everything. Great to see the progress meter filling up as your debt shrinks. Highly recommend this app. Now that theres an iPad interface we just need a (secure) sync and it will be the ultimate debt tracking app.

Doesnt save "planned payments"

Jmcm1298 · 9 years ago · v2.2.1

This app says that you can edit planned payments when the "snowball payment" option is turned off. So I turned off that option and tried to edit the payment, it doesnt save! I clicked done and then went back to the payment schedule, no change. Whats the point of being able to change the payment if nothing else is going to update?! Pretty annoying.

Great concept

I wrote an earlier review of this app that was not very positive. I hope this one will over write my earlier comments. Initially I was under the impression that we were unable to edit the debt entered but realized that tapping on the debt and clicking on the blue disclosure button takes you to different areas. Now I can say Im very excited and look forward to successfully using the app.
