Description
The Democracy Video Challenge (DVC) app enables users, around the world, to follow the DVC’s online video challenge and the organization surrounding it. This worldwide video challenge has received entries from over 1,600 film-makers in 90 countries – including China, Iraq and Iran. Previous winners are portrayed through their winning videos, video-biographies and written biographies.
This app provides an easy-to-use interface to view hundreds of contest videos via an integrated YouTube feed. It features an interactive map that shows the location of each of the 1600 films/filmmakers and highlights the winners Social media tools are also included to allow users to actively participate in the Democracy Video Challenge community through Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Important Challenge information, such as entry rules, judging protocols, contest deadlines and prizes are also included in the app.
