There have been many publications and news articles related to sitting for prolonged periods of time and how it is harmful for your body.
Sitting can create muscle imbalances in your body that can cause back, knee, neck, and hip pain. A lot of the time the causes of these are hard to determine because your body compensates for them. All you are aware of is the pain and/or stiffness.
