Part of the myHarkness platform, the myHarkness Calculator allows engineers and exhibitors to ensure that digital cinema investments are fully optimised. Quick and easy to use, the tool identifies the capabilities of equipment choices and provides recommendations on projector, light source and screen choices based upon chosen screen size and maximum brightness levels for 2D and 3D. It also calculates theoretical operating costs and shows how screen choice might reduce these dramatically.
The myHarkness Calculator has been rigorously tested to confirm its accuracy. The tool however is dependent on the accuracy of data entered by the user which is then used to make a number of assumptions.
Whilst the results displayed in the Calculator are theoretically possible there are any number of variables which could alter the outcome significantly. Harkness Screens always recommends users consult with Harkness before applying the information supplied in the myHarkness Calculator in to real-world construction projects.
