Description
Direct band gap calculator is an iPhone application for calculating the direct band gap energy in ternary semiconductor alloys. Twelve different combinations are available. They are - AlInP, AlGaAs, AlInAs, AlGaSb, AlInSb, GaInP, GaInAs, GaInSb, GaPAs, GaAsSb, InPAs, InAsSb.
You can adjust the doping percentage by using a slider interface and see the energy band gap value changes instantly. Values like Lattice Constant, Density, Dielectric constant, Effective mass electron, hole, Electron affinity, refractive index, Piezoelectric constant, Elastic constant etc are also calculated.
