DiverLog at Mac App Store analyse

Wo kann ich von Fuss auf Meter umstellen? Nirgends so wie es ausueht. Unübersichtlich und Buggy.

Funktionen des Programms an sich sind super und lassen eigentlich keine Wünsche offen... bis auf einen: Es ist nicht möglich eine (kostenlose) Datensicherung der Tauchgänge zu machen, z.B. auf PC. Auch ein vollständiges Backup des iPhones über iTunes speichern die Tauchgänge nicht! D.h. beim Austausch des iPhones durch ein neues Gerät sind alle gespeicherten Tauchgänge in Diverlog weg und müssen händisch neu erfasst werden. Ein Unding, wenn man viele Daten zu den Tauchgängen erfasst hat. Ein Backup wäre nur möglich über die Cloud, die mit ca. 10 € pro Jahr berechnet wird oder per ebenfalls kostenpflichtiger Software auf einem iBook (Windows-User haben Pech). Eine einfache Backup-Möglichkeit der erfassten Daten kann man von einer "professionellen" Software eigentlich erwarten, vor allem in Zeiten in denen spätestens alle paar Jahre das Smartphone ausgetauscht wird. Ist diese Möglichkeit nicht vorhanden, ist auch die Hauptfunktion des Programms als Taucher-Logbuch absolut nicht zu gebrauchen. Finger weg!!

The app crashes when trying to access the settings menu please fix, otherwise seems like a good app to use.

Not able to add dive computer, it says select from the list, the list Is empty and the (select from list) tab is greyed out.

I really want to like this app, but Im struggling. I bought it because of its Bluetooth connectivity option to my Aeris A300CS dive computer, and I have to say that the Bluetooth works great and I love being able to download logs on the dive boat and update them on the spot. And compared to what Aeris calls software, DiverLog is a world apart. However, there is a lot that is left to be desired with DiverLog. Its not the most intuitive, but once you figure it out things make sense. But the software is buggy. Ive had logs sequenced incorrectly despite the dates being correct and I frequently seems to love the settings I select for dive gear on my logs. And there are features that are sorely lacking, such as the ability to set a lifetime dive count and dive hours to start the app with (Im not about to enter over 500 dives I did prior to using this app just to get it to reflect my true dive count and logged hours). Also, gear lockers are a great idea but anyone who dives knows that gear is tweaked from time to time and I dont want to have to setup a new locker every time I change my weight by a few pounds. I should be able to select a gear locker up front and then changes made in the log to my gear dont impact the saved locker (and all the dives it was previously used for). Ive also found support to be slow to respond and not very good at keep me up to date on progress. I reported the bug regarding dives out of sequence and was told support would inform me when a beta test was ready. Despite emails from me, I never heard from them again, but when the most recent version was released it had my fix. Although it was broken as well! Now all my dives are in reverse order. Given the poor quality of the software from Aeris that comes with the computer I really want this app to work well. But although it does some things right, it just isnt ready to replace any other reliable form of logging dives. Even paper logs.

I love this app for tracking my dives. Downloading the dive data from my dive computer is fast and easy. The only improvement that I could suggest is add a section to allow the diver add notes,since you do allow adding photo and video

si presenta bene ma ha delle lacune immense!!! non dovete chiedere 10,00 per app ancora non funzionante!!!! spero sviluppiate aggiornamenti a breve.. così come è serve a ben poco. Molti crash - geolocalizzazione assente - possibilibità di scegliere punto immersione su mappa assente.. interfaccia con aeris a300cs penosa... non programma dati e trasferisce info errate.. ne ho molte altre che spero non debba inserire in fturo. Buoin lavoro
