Description

Emergency room, 2.30 a.m… You have to examine a patient who does not speak your language. You can’t understand the patient nor can he answer to your questions. The Pocket Translator enables you to communicate with foreign patients! 280 essential words will help you with the first examination and the resulting diagnosis. Simply select the button “Search” and enter the word you like to find. With a click, you can read and hear the translation in the target language. The current version supports translations into the following languages: Albanian, Arabic, German, French, Greek, Italian, Croatian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Slovak, Czech and Turkish. The App requires no internet connection after the installation: All sound files are stored on your mobile device!

Hilfe bei Sprachscwierigkeiten

Als letzte Lösung bei Sprachverwirrungen hilfreich. Es muß nur ganz leise im Zimmer sein, sonst kommt der iphone-Lautsprecher nicht durch

Kleine Fragestellungen bzw.formulierte Saetze zur Anamnese/Beschwerdenerhebung wuerden die gute und hilfreiche App. abrunden! Trotzdem sehr tolle App.

Nützliche Hilfe im Nachtdienst

Die App ist wirklich hilfreich, wenn man im Not- bzw. Nachtdienst einen Patienten hat, der gar kein Deutsch spricht. So kann man zumindest ein paar grundlegende Fragen stellen und das Beschwerdebild eingrenzen. Trotzdem wären ein paar ganze Sätze natürlich noch besser. Vielleicht bessert der Anbieter da mit einem Update ja noch nach. Finde den Preis angemessen - ist halt keine App für das Privatvergnügen, sondern lohnt sich nur, wenn man die Funktion beruflich einsetzen kann. Das korrespondierende Buch des Ärzte-Verlages kostet fast doppelt so viel!

Gute Funktionalität. Die Sprachqualität der ausgesprochenen Begriffe könnte sehr verbessert werden.

Kann sein, dass es im arabischen Sprachraum keine so diffizilen Begriffe wie Frauenarzt, Gynäkologe oder Kniebeschwerden gibt, hiermit kann man sie jedenfalls nicht übersetzen. Schade um das Geld.
