The novel tells the story of a young man named Dorian Gray, painted by the artist Basil Hallward, who is greatly impressed by Dorians physical beauty and begins to fancy him, believing that this beauty is responsible for the new form of art . Realizing that one day his beauty will fade, Dorian wants to always have the age when he painted in the table Basil. Dorians wish is fulfilled, while he remains forever the same appearance of the painting, he depicted the figure in age for him. El Retrato de Dorian Gray es una novela escrita por Oscar Wilde. Considerada uno de los clásicos de la literatura, es un libro intrigante y agradable. La novela cuenta la historia de un joven llamado Dorian Gray, retratado por el artista Basil Hallward, quien queda enormemente impresionado por la belleza física de Dorian y comienza a encapricharse con él, creyendo que esta belleza es la responsable de la nueva forma de su arte. Al darse cuenta de que un día su belleza se desvanecerá, Dorian desea tener siempre la edad de cuando le pintó en el cuadro Basil.
