Description

This mobile device application was jointly developed by the Department of Science and Technology-Nationwide Operational Assessment of Hazards (DOST-NOAH) and the ABS-CBN Corporation. It aims to give mobile device users information such as probability of rain, typhoon forecast, images from multifunctional transport satellites, rainfall amount, temperature, images from Doppler stations and recordings from weather stations, stream gauges and rain gauges -- essentially giving users access to crucial hazards information right at their fingertips.

I use this app to know "doppler" and "% chance of rain." Unfortunately, both of functions are hard to use for me. The functions show the variation. I can not see the clock, when I pinch in a place. And I can not stop a certain scene.

This app is a GREAT idea and should be downloaded, but suffers the same UI/UX fail of the website. It isnt meant for ordinary non-science major types. Normal people are interested in three things: rainfall, flooding/warning, typhoon warning and bulletins-- for obvious reasons. Good first try. I hope they improve it.
