Nice app
I’ve installed Duplicate Manager Pro and I like it. Easy and simple to use.
Useful, well thought, recomendable
I used other apps to remove duplicates. I liked this here because: - I can decide the kind of search, to search checksum instead of name allows me to find that typical fotos which have been changed of name, but the original (like IMG_DSC_19349) persists. Or films, or mp3s, or docs. This is one of the big pros of this app, and makes it great to clean the media library, where most of this big files live - is as usefull that it saves the scan, both the path (I often scan the same external disc) and the process (so I can resume a real big scan) - It is really litttle but fast. Even has a transparent sandboxing. Congrats, a very well planned app.

Dateivergleich (auch) nach Ordnern, auf Bit-Ebene (+/- Namen usw.), was naturgemäß einer gewissen Zeit bedarf, bei mir ca. 1000 Dateien /Minute (was ich als recht schnell empfinde). Auto-Auswahl (auch) nach Ordnerpriorität, in der Pro-Version automatisches Löschen aller Duplikate (es gibt auch eine kostenlose Version mit manueller Auswahl der zu löschenden Duplikate). Mehrfache „Sets“ (vordefinierte, völlig frei anpassbare und zu ergänzende Listen von Scan-Vorgängen nach Ordnern und Datei(typ). Timerfunktion (ab 1x täglich). So gut, einfach und dennoch in allerhöchstem Maße steuerbar habe ich noch keinen anderen Duplikatscanner gesehen. Daumen HOCH !!! (OK, die Übersetzung ist manchmal etwas holprig, aber immerhin vorhanden(!), und man braucht ein paar Minuten, um hinter alle Funktionen zu kommen. Aber wer so etwas braucht, weiß normalerweise, was eine Sicherungskopie jenseits von Time-Machine ist, und stört sich nicht an fehlender „Hochglanzoptik").
Schnell, genau, schlank
Findet zuverlässig doppelte Dateien, Bereich zur Prüfung kann einfach eingegrenzt werden, diverse Optionen zum Löschen / Verschieben doppelter Dateien. Die deutsche Übersetzung kann noch verbessert werden ;-)
Sehr empfehlenswert
Obwohl einige bestimmt schon bereits das ein oder andere Disk Utility besitzen, welches eine vergleichbare Funktion bereits integriert hat, besticht dieses kleine Utility durch sein aufgeräumtes GUI ohne Verzicht auf Funktionalität. Duplicate Manager Pro erlaubt auf das vielseitigste die Such-Attribute zu spezifizieren.
"effektiv reinigt aus den Duplikaten" - selten so gelacht.
die deutsche Version ist grauenhaft übersetzt - kaum verständlich und wäre streckenweise komisch - wenn es denn funktionieren würde. Leider findet das Programm in tiefer geschachtelten Ordnern doppelte Dateien überhaupt nicht - doppelte Ordner mit identischem Inhalt werden ebenfalls nicht erkannt - Beispiel: Im Ordner Bilder gibt es einen Ordner All_pics in dem sich Ordner befinden die sich auch im Ordner Bilder befinden und Dateien enthalten die auch im Ordner All_pics in identischen Unterordnern vorhanden sind - die werden nicht erkannt - offensichtlich erkennt das Programm ab einer geringen Ordner-Tiefe keine Doubletten mehr - d.h. es ist nutzlos. 99ct. ist sicher billig - aber die Frechheit ist, dass hier offensichtlich Claqueure eine Schrott-Software positiv bewertet haben - obwohl die bereits in der Übersetzung absolut unverständlich und damit unbrauchbar ist - siehe Titel . Das Programm macht nicht was es soll und die deutsche Übersetzung ist grauenhaft. Das Apple so etwas im App Store anbietet ist eher beschämend.
