Description

DynoBox is a virtual Dynamometer to measure the performance, speed and power of your car with the accelerometer (not the GPS receiver) of your iPhone. DynoBox tracks the acceleration of your car, calculates speed, distance and performance and plots it into an easily readable graph. Choose from a wide variety of units to measure the time and speed your car achieves on the Quartermile or measure how long it takes to get to a certain speed. DynoBox can also calculate the actual power your car produces. The calibration screen helps you to position your iPhone for maximum accuracy. Please note, that the iPhone has to be placed in a car mount to work accurately. After each run you can review every split-second by sliding your finger over the display of your iPhone. The last runs are saved and can be reviewed later. In addition you will find the current lateral (sideways) force on the bottom of the screen, along with a "Max lateral force" display. DYNOBOX USES THE MOTION SENSORS OF THE IPHONE TO DETECT THE SPEED. SO IT WILL SHOW FUNNY NUMBERS WHEN YOU HOLD IT IN YOUR HAND. YOU NEED TO ATTACH IT TO THE DASHBOARD OF YOUR CAR! Test the performance of your Ford, GM, Chrysler, BMW, Audi, Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Honda, Nissan, Toyota, Mustang, Corvette, Viper or any other car you want. Hab das Programm gerade mal auf dem Weg zur Arbeit ausprobiert. Ich benutze eine KFZ-Halterung und damit wurde die Messung erstaunlich genau. Das iPhone hat genau angezeigt, wann ich die 100 km/h Grenze erreicht habe. Die Entfernung müsste auch gestimmt haben. Nur die PS Anzeige hat ca. 10 PS zu wenig angezeigt. Aber interessant ist es trotzdem, wie sich die Leistung entwickelt, im Laufe der Beschleunigung.

Trotz fester Verbindung (Kfz-Halterung) werden völlig irrwitzige Daten angezeigt (Oder hat mein Auto wirklich 408 PS? Oder doch nur 26?). Meiner Meinung nach rausgeworfenes Geld...

Nie nadaje się to do niczego konkretnego. W samochodzie z 90KM pokazuje 60. Wielkie opóźnienia w podawaniu prędkości względem rzeczywistości. Bardzo słabe możliwości konfiguracyjne. Wartość aplikacji wyceniona na ok. 1,5 euro jest moim zdaniem dość istotnie zawyżona.

Total disaster! In my car which have 287 hp shows from 124 to 220 hp and time 0-100 from 7 to 9 min. Graphs are not clear, and small number of options.
