EarnOurVotes is a new App focused on increasing the accountability of elected officials. With EarnOurVotes, New York State residents can: 1. identify who represents us at the state level, in both the State Assembly and State Senate 2. select or write up our positions on public issues of concern (and include images as desired) 3. email our representatives our views 4. share our views by Tweeting or posting them to Facebook 5. sort, filter and otherwise manage issues we individually author 6. export and share issues as well The purpose of EarnOurVotes is to increase the ranks of people who are heard by their representatives. This first version of the App allows anyone in New York State to identify their State Senators and State Assemblymen. Upgrades to this App are planned to make it easier to address more elected officials both locally and nationally. EarnOurVotes aims to make better government possible - through increased accountability.
