Description
VISION2020 deals with future strategies of public service media in Europe.
It provides the results of a major strategy project by the Members of the European Broadcasting Union and contains:
-The top 10 recommendations to help Members make public service media indispensible
-Over 100 cases, including examples of programmes, guidelines, policy documents etc. The cases offer inspiration; many of them illustrate how public service media are already on their way to fulfilling the top 10 recommendations
-An analysis of trends in media markets and media consumption
-Information about the VISION2020 strategy project’s process
Public service broadcasters can use the app as a source of inspiration when developing their own strategies. It addresses issues such as portfolio strategies, distribution strategies, management, innovation, funding and governance.
The app will be updated regularly with new cases from EBU Members and new trend data.
The app is available in English and French.
