This MagiWise app has been developed for and with children, which get the first education in fractions. The app explains in simple wording and examples the basic theory of calculating with fractions. After doing all exercises the child knows how to add and transform all kind of fractions. Also the app helps in a friendly way to get the understanding of what you can do with fractions. This app contains 10 chapters with many interactive instruction pages, 18 exercises and finally 3 tests.
Like every MagiWise app the structure of the app is made like a school booklet. The idea is to create an educational experience during using the app (instead a solely game experience). The exercises can be executed in different order. After doing the exercises the exercise results can be evaluated. The following subjects are presented in the app:
1. Understanding the denominator of the fraction.
2. Understanding the numerator of the fraction.
3. Adding fractions with similar denominators.
4. Learn how to change the denominator without changing the fraction as whole.
5. Adding two fractions with different denominators.
6. Simplify fractions.
