While Elder Sign: Omens brilliantly conveys the spirit of the Elder Sign dice game, a few noteworthy differences were adopted to optimize the mobile play experience: -A limited number of available Ancient Ones streamlines the game play experience while offering adjustable levels of difficulty. Face Yig in normal mode, Azathoth in difficult mode, or Cthulhu in very hard mode (in-app purchase required to face Cthulhu). -A number of subtle changes increase the peril of defending humanity. For example, the random negative effects drawn every midnight are more challenging, and the frequency of “no effect” results has been decreased. Monsters have likewise been altered to make them more difficult. -Finally, there are no Ally cards in Elder Sign: Omens, which further streamlines play while increasing the overall challenge.

Je ne connais pas le jeu original donc je ne peux pas comparer les deux. Cette version est sympa et vite prenante malgré le niveau élevé de difficulté. Il est en effet assez difficile de gagner une partie.

Le jeu est beau. Ses mécanismes sont sympas. Seulement voilà : trop de hasard, difficulté trop haute font que lon paume 90% des parties. Lassant et frustrant. De plus, il faut acheter deux fois le jeu si on veut jouer sur iPad en utilisant lécran en entier (sinon, on a que la "taille iPhone". Je suis super déçu et jespère quun correctif autorisera à doser la difficulté du jeu, qui aurait pu être chouette.

Even better than the original boardgame. I hope to have french localization soon. Just one thing miss : the card text of each location in the museum to obtain absolute climax.

Le meilleur jeu sur iPhone tout simplement, beau, riche, inépuisable, un peu dur au début mais avec un peu de stratégie on gagne 1 fois sur 2 ou 3. En plus les fans de lhovercraft seront comblés

Excellent jeu ! Du hasard bien dosé par rapport à la stratégie, les noms sont tous imprononçables, la musique vous met mal à laise on est bien dans du Lovecraft ! Un peu plus de Grands Anciens à renvoyer dans leur dimension et plus de personnages seraient les bienvenus. A quand les Demeures de lEpouvantes ?

Un jeu de dés et dambiance - haletant

Il faut 2-3 parties pour bien comprendre le jeu. Un peu plus pour avoir 100% des détails. Le tutorial est bien fait mais cest une vidéo en anglais, donc si vous nêtes pas à laise dans cette langue cela risque dêtre compliqué. Il sagit de ladaptation dun jeu de dés se jouant en solitaire avec un vrai travail sur lambiance "Arkham". Le jeu est donc très prenant... Je regrette cependant labsence dinfos sur les % de chaque tirage possible avec les glyphes vertes, jaunes et rouges... Dans le jeu de plateau on doit le savoir puisquon peut regarder les dés, ici ce nest pas possible. Malgré ces quelques réserves, je recommande fortement ce jeu !
