Description

Written by a licensed electrician who used these exact questions to pass his own exam. Nearly 1,400 multiple-choice questions mapped to the 2023 National Electrical Code, with hints that teach you where to look in the code book and worked solutions for the calculations. WHAT YOU GET • 1,394 NEC questions in the style of state journeyman and master electrician exams (PSI and ICC formats). • Smart hints: instead of just showing the answer, the app points you to the NEC article or table where it lives, so you get faster at finding things in an open-book exam. • 124 calculation questions with step-by-step worked solutions: wire ampacity with temperature and conductor-count adjustments, voltage drop, conduit fill from Chapter 9 Tables 4 and 5, box fill, motor circuits, and service load calculations. • The NEC tables you need, built in, so a hint can open the table for you. STUDY BY TOPIC Pick one of 17 categories or drill the whole bank: Wire Sizing • Conduit Sizing • Motor Loads • Voltage Drop • Box Fill • GFCI / AFCI • Service & Feeders • Transformers • Ground-Fault Protection • Short-Circuit & Interrupting • PV Systems • Grounding & Bonding • Low-Voltage & Fire Alarm • Hazardous Locations • Wiring Methods & Workmanship • General Calculations & Admin • Communications & Cabling TRACK YOUR PROGRESS Each category has a progress bar that fills as you answer correctly. Missed questions collect in their own pile so you can retry them until they stick. When every bar is green, you are ready. WHO IT IS FOR • Apprentices learning to navigate the code book while the concepts are fresh. • Journeyman candidates who want realistic practice before the state exam. • Master electrician candidates brushing up on calculations and the 2023 changes. • Working electricians who want a quick reference and a refresher. The app is free to use and supported by ads. Everything works offline once installed. More practice questions and state-by-state licensing guides at electriciantestprep.com. Hints and tables summarize code requirements in the author's own words; consult the current NEC as the definitive reference.
