Description

Extract all the email addresses from your messages in Mail or Outlook 2011 for Mac. Works with Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook and any other service that can be added to your email client via POP or IMAP. Email Contacts Extractor scans all your email messages and extracts both email address and name of your contacts from the From, To, Bcc, Cc and Reply-To header fields. Without duplicates and by ignoring the most common robot accounts. The result is a CSV file that can be opened in Numbers, Excel or OpenOffice, or imported to MailChimp or Apple Contacts. It allows you to sort your contacts by name, last message date, rating or even contact frequency. The app is perfect for: * Creating a personal mailing list * Backup all your contacts before closing an account * Gaining insight about your email usage. Who are your most frequent contacts? Who did you email with in the last year? Planning to send a mass email to your contacts? Email Contacts Extractor is designed to minimize the bounce and complaint rate of your mailing list: * No duplicates * Robot accounts such as “no-reply@” are ignored * Customize the blacklist to ignore emails from a certain domain (ie: your company) * Filter out meager contacts with automatic ratings You can also filter your list manually: the app counts how many time each contact appears in the From, To, Cc, Bcc and Reply-To fields of incoming and outgoing email, and this can also be included in the resulting CSV file.

Ich habe das Programm verwendet um einen Email-Ordner mit 1000 Emails zu durchlaufen. Ich wollte an die Mailadds im BCC-Feld herankommen, welches immer gefüllt ist. Komischerweise spuckt mir das Programm leider nur 50 Ergebnisse aus. Ich habe die Mails dann via Terminal von Hand geparsed. Das hat mir die gewünschten 1000 Email Adressen geliefert. Also habe ich die Investition umsonst gemacht. Wenn ich könnte würde ich es zurückgeben. - Unfortunately the app is useless for me because a folder with 1000 Emails with filled BCC field did only deliver about 50 adresses.

Was using AppleScript for years to extract email addresses from Mac Mail but I’m no expert at scripting. I must of had to update the AppleScript code half a dozen times over the years. I could get it done but I ripped out half my hair. This product was beyond easy to use and well worth the price.

I tried the lite version and bought right away the premium one. The app does exactly what it says and works like a charm. there is also a blacklist filter to avoid exctracting fake spam email addresses or unwanted ones. Congrats to the dev, this is an amazing app and despite the price (a bit pricey for such a small app), I am very happy I bought it. 5 stars, no questions asked.

This app is exactly what I was looking for. - localy grab ALL email & names from my Outlook email instance across all folders - no connectivity needed - take out duplicates - save the results in a CSV file which I can upload to my devices Easy to use, quick and accurate. $9.99 well spent!
