The Empire Train Controller software can operate your layout from a Mac or Windows computer or Windows Tablet instead of using the Empire Train Controller App on your mobile device. The Empire Train Controller App requires the Empire Train Controller software (iPad ECTC-1 $299.99 or iPhone ECTC-3 $89.99) sold at www.Train-Station.com and a Lionel Legacy 6-14295 or a Lionel TMCC command base. If you want to run old trains via track voltage adjustment, you will need a Lionel Powermaster. The software must be installed on your computer to communicate with this App for your mobile device. This App will NOT control engines or layout without the required Empire Train Controller software purchased seperately. Empire Computer Train Controller App and software lets you experience your trains as never before with new easy touch screen controls. The base package also lets you control up to 4 SC-1 switches and/or accessories. An upgraded layout graphics package integrated into the App on the “Layout” Tab (sold separately) displays your track plan, including all your switch buttons, lights, and other accessories positioned to scale where they are on your layout. A library is available to manage your engines, tracks, and trains. Four items can be controlled at once or many more if you choose to select new ones from the four drop down boxes. No need to remember the engine numbers anymore. You can add photos of your items to the drop down boxes by loading them to a directory. You just touch the picture to activate control. Lash ups are easier too. Less buttons to push. Just drag and drop up to three engines under a Train and press the “Assign/Clear Lashup” button and your ready to run.
