Description
The ESH Eurohypertension app is a initial framework for a range of Health Awareness applications sponsored by the European Society of Hypertension and YouCo in order to raise the awareness on the silent killer hypertension.
The scope of this simple app is to easily record and keep track of you blood pressure and share with the medical staff that is helping you to better monitor your condition.
The functionality is very simple, just register yourself and insert you personal doctor so he may receive blood pressure situation reports you may want to send him.
The registration process requires that you define the doctor you want to send the report and send a proposal to link up to her/him.
The doctor thus receives an email with the request to accept reading the data you want to share.
Once you doctor accepts you then he can study the data you send for maximum privacy from his secure strong encryption, password protected web interface.
There you doctor can then study the changes that the medications may do on your hypertension situation.
Inserting the blood pressure readings data is very simple and you can also keep track of body wight and BMI - Body Mass Index for a better understanding on the progress you make.
Additionally the app has a handy medicine reminder alarm timer so you always know when and what medicine to take and an information portal with tips and hints on how to keep hypertension under control with diet, exercise and other useful info specifically studied by the European Society of Hypertension.
