EuroBirds - Illustrated Dictionary of European Birds English – German – Swedish – Finnish – Danish A digital dictionary covering more than 400 species of birds regularly seen in Europe. Each bird is listed with taxonomic names (family and species) in 6 languages: Latin, English, German, Danish, Swedish, and Finnish. Apart from two photographs (expandable to full-screen), the songs of most birds are available for download and storage on the user’s device. At first access to a song an internet connection is required and you can decide whether to download a single song, the songs of the entire family, or all available songs of all species. Features - quick search for any part of the species or family name in any of the languages (taxonomic, EN, DA, DE, FI, SV) - two photographs of each bird species - audio recordings of songs and calls to be played on iPhone and iPod touch built-in speakers - intuitive navigation and flip-to-horizontal mode for full-screen viewing of photographs - internet connection only required for initial download of bird songs
