Description
Endovenous laser treatment (EVLT, ELT) or Endovenous laser ablation (EVLA) is a minimally invasive ultrasound-guided technique used for treating varicose veins using laser energy commonly performed by an interventional radiologist or vascular surgeon.
Endovenous laser treatment is a treatment for varicose veins in which an optical fiber is inserted into the vein to be treated, and laser light, normally in the infrared portion of the spectrum, is shone into the interior of the vein. This causes the vein to contract, and the optical fiber is slowly withdrawn.
This apps trains the surgeon to deploy the right amount of energy in surgery, avoiding bruising, nerve injury, cellulitis and deep venous thrombosis.
It calculates the linear endovenous energy dose (LEED), pull speed, distance, energy and everything necessary to do a good surgery.
It also has a published paper reader about this subject that is constantly updated using intelligent algorithms.
It may be used to calculate the LEED intraoperatively, althought not yet validated, it is a possible use. LEED is not informed on any laser device, but is the most useful method for reproducing surgical results.
* Please ask any question you want before buying the app. Our site is www.amato.com.br/software I prefer to answer as many questions as needed than have a bad comment by someone who hasnt understood the app utility. Remember I am a vascular surgeon, and the software was developed to meet my needs, that are other surgeons needs too.
** For those who cannot understand why a medical app is more expensive than a last generation game, it is very simple:
A 0,99$ game will be bought by hundreds of thousands, and the niche of a medical app will allow only a few to buy any medical aplication. That price should, at least, fulfill the development cost of the app, and thats why the cost is more than the common app price. Simple math.
