Description

Expedition Africa is a challenging and addictive game based on the new series of the same name from History Channel, which recreates the route that Henry Stanley took on his expedition to find Dr. David Livingstone. The Expedition Africa game is a dice-based quest, that challenges players to see how long they can last on the journey, balancing risks and rewards, no guts, no glory. Run out of porters or food, and your journey will be over. Challenge your friends to see if they can beat your high score. Only the strong survive.

I was hoping for more gameplay than 15 minutes from start to finish. Disappointing.

The game has choppy graphics (no where near motionX dice) and is short lived. But, I do like the rpg style game play. Maybe if it had multiple trails/levels to play and a little more depth it would be great.

I agree with the previous reviewer that it needs more depth, such as different trials, and maybe random events now and then, but hey, its free, and it serves its purpose of promoting the show.

froze my iphone 3g

right after I hit the directions button on the main screen. Froze it up hard and I couldnt restart the phone. I had to wait until the battery drained all the way down to nothing (it had a fresh charge), which made the phone very hot and I lost the use of my cell phone for 3 hours in the middle of a business day. NOT GOOD! When it died, I plugged it back in to recharge it, and immediately deleted the program.

After the first round what???? Needs a lot of improvment. I used the app for one day and then removed it from my iPod.
