Description
Discover what happens inside a 4-stroke engine.
4-Stroke Engine is an educational app designed to make the basic principles of internal combustion engines easy to understand.
Learn the four stages of the engine cycle:
• Intake
• Compression
• Power
• Exhaust
The theory section explains the key concepts step by step, helping you understand how the piston, valves, combustion process, and other engine components work together.
Educational videos complement the theory and provide a visual way to understand the different stages of the 4-stroke cycle.
Whether you are a student, an automotive apprentice, a teacher, or simply curious about how engines work, the app provides an accessible introduction to the fundamentals of 4-stroke engines.
Learn at your own pace, connect theory with visual explanations, and discover how combustion is transformed into mechanical motion.
• Engine Simulator
Drag the RPM slider and watch the piston, connecting rod and crankshaft move in real time.
Hear the engine note rise and fall, and follow live RPM, stroke and temperature gauges.
• Parts Explorer — Tap any part of the engine to discover what it does: spark plug, piston, connecting rod, crankshaft and more.
• Quiz — Test your knowledge of the Intake, Compression, Power and Exhaust strokes and beat your best score.
