The purple monster is so cute! My sons love to feed and poke it and laugh. Theyre learning good skills, and I like how each can have their own monster and see their progress. My little ones will have their diplomas soon!

My kids love it...
Great new features!
I have Feed Me! on my iPhone. I like the new features in this Mac version. We can choose the subjects and levels and know how many correct answers are left to get that trophy. Also its always easier to play it on a big screen. Love it!
Sounds in words?
What is wrong with the sounds in words or the letter sounds. It says E and asks for an E but only gives you the option of a tire, a nest or a key. Seriously? Eggs start with E but the KEY is the answer and thats just DUMB. Please fix it?
doesnt work with lion
doesnt seem to work with lion. hangs and had to force quit twice.
Genius for 3 and 4 year olds
I have a 3 year old (almost 4), and I figured he would be ready for Math, I was right. I found this app to help make it fun and let me tell you he loves it. To my surprise there are tons of other learning games too that he enjoys. Once he learned that he will get trophies for completing tasks, that was the kicker. I give this app 4 stars. 5 stars would be for alternate eating monsters or expanded animations to keep it fresh. For example, once all trophies are completed, another set should replace them to keep replayable. Also, more animations and sounds for the eating monster. I will agree with another reviewer that the Sounds for words seems odd on certain letters. Key for E? how about Eel for E etc.
Fine program, good for frying eggs
Im vegan, but if I needed to fry an egg I could turn on this app, flip my Mac over, and cook one up rapidly. This is by far the hottest running app I own, and I am a geek who loves apps. I cant put the laptop on my lap when its running. If I put it on the table, it gets even hotter. Maybe they can send us an ice pack with this app? The fans all kick in and Im afraid my laptop will either take flight or burn up the motherboard. Otherwise though, I think the app is fine. Im a teacher and I believe it does a good job. We can get picky about details, but my children like it and it provides a good educational experience.
