Description

The feelcheck app is used for research projects on the health of the human voice and similar conditions. It allows project participants to easily record acoustic samples of their voice in various everyday situations, alongside various context and environment variables like vocal load, stress level, throat sensations and recording room configuration, which are assessed by the participant on Likert-type scales. Prompting material and questionnaire content is easily adaptable to new research aims. Speaker data is submitted securely to a remote server for further analysis. The app focusses on longitudinal tracking of the human voice, and individual recording schedules for participants can be set up and triggered via push notifications.
