Holidays for countries: D-A-CH-US-FR-ES-CN-UK-PL-CZ. Send it per email as .iCal file to your PC or Mac and sync with iTunes to your iPhone or iPod Touch.

- All Contents can displayed only online.
- For a continuing service and functioning of the holidays-data website there is no guarantee.
Why Online?
- The data is always up-to-date, without updating the program itself.
- New Countries can be added.
- The data and functions are maintained and expanded by Pocketkai.
- There is always data for the actual Year + 30 years available.
- Theoretically the holidays can be calculated until Year 9999.
- Direkt entering into the iPhone Calendar is not supported. But sending the data as .iCal-file per eMail makes it for this online-app possible.
Use:
- When Holidays is displayed, select country and Year.
- If wanted send selected holidays-data as .iCal to yourself per eMail.
- If you want, then you can send this file also to your friends, assumed they agree.
- Receive this mail with PC or Mac
- transfer the data on the Mac into the Calendar.
- On PC the data lands into Outlook
- Synchronise your iPhone or iPod Touch with iTunes and you have the holidays-data in the Calendar of your device.
- In the program you can navigate back with the button Back.

Ein Lob an den Entwickler!!
Das "Feiertage" aus der Softwareschmiede von Kai kommt sehr übersichtlich und leicht bedienbar daher. Ein Klick auf das gewünschte Land und Jahr zeigt alle Feiertage - und das auch 30 Jahre im Vorraus. Fünf Punkte gibt es für das Feature "Kirchenjahr" - Auf Wunsch kann man sich hier alle Sonntage des liturgischen Kirchenkalenders anzeigen lassen und genauso wie die anderen Feiertage als iCal exportieren und in den Kalender des Iphone oder sogar in Outlook einfügen. Perfekt für Leute, die in der Kirche zu tun haben.... Soweit ich das überblicke einzigartig im Appstore!

Das Programm kann alles, was es verspricht, und ist idiotensicher. Empfehlenswert! ACHTUNG: Das Zurückspielen per email in iCal auf den Mac geht nur, wenn eine Internet-Funkverbindung vom iPod aus besteht. Ansonsten muß der Umweg über die homepage des Anbieters gemacht werden. Ich bekam ein Link und konnte mir die .ics-Datei auch von dort aus zuschicken lassen. Beeindruckend ist der support - binnen Minuten und sogar am Sonntag!
Durchwachsener Eindruck...
Gleich vorweg: Es tut im Großen und Ganzen was soll... Aber die App ist noch deutlich zu bessern: - Es reagiert auf dem 3GS sehr träge und bleibt oft stehen. Es fehlt auch der Feedback, dass die Anwendung beschäftigt ist. - bei WLAN-Verbindung bekommen ich oft den Fehler, das keine Internetverbindung zur Verfügung steht. - Es wäre eine Filterung der Feiertage von Vorteil. - Warum werden Feiertage nicht als ganztägiges Ereignis eintragen, sondern als Termin von 9:00 bis 11:00?!? Daher nur 3 Sterne von mir.
Feiertage - ein wirklich super App
Es ist eine wirklich gute Software, mit der man sehr gut planen und arbeiten kann!! Nur zu und weiter so. Denn was wären unsere IPhons ohne Leute mit solch genialen Ideen? Deshalb auch fünf Sterne. Karin Vindis
Ist bestens
Ich war anfangs skeptisch, aber es funktioniert tatsächlich. Es ist eine einfache Idee, die dahinter steckt, aber nach der Synchronisation mit iTunes sind die Feiertage tatsächlich im Kalender, den uns Apple empfiehlt ;-). Zumindest auf meinem 3Gs ... Den 5ten Stern gibts bei ner Preissenkung.
Bundesländer wünschenswert
Das Programm funktioniert wie angegeben. Mehr Sterne, wenn auch noch nach Bundesländern D selektiert werden kann. Bitte beim update nachholen.
