Erstklassige Funktion - Aber das UI
Mit Verlaub, ein Mac-User hat auch zumindest ein kleines Auge für Design. Das hier - geht gar nicht ;-) Fängt schon mit dem Buttondesign an aber gut. Es bleibt bei mir. Warum? Es ist unvergleichlich gut, schnell, sicher und tut exakt das, was beworben wird. Ich bin hin und weg. Eine wahnsinnig gute Zeitersparnis. Aber das UI...
Funktion sehr gut - schlechte Bedienung
Im Prinzip ist FileBot ein Klasse Programm mit allen funktionen die ich mir wünsche. ABER für normal User eigentlich nicht zu gebrauchen. Mal kurz was umbennenen mit Standardeinstellungen ist kein Problem. Wenn man das jetzt aber so haben möchte, wie mans immer macht, wird kompliziert. Man muss z.B. eigene“ Formeln“ erstellen, wenn man einen Bestimmten Pfad will. Wenn man Ordner umbennen will, muss man diese mit SHIFT ins Feld ziehen oder manuell was erstellen…woher soll man sowas wissen, wenn man nicht stundenlang danach im (wirklich gutem) Forum sucht?? Also zusammengefasst: Funktion einzigartig — UI und Bedienung eine Katastrophe wie ich finde. Hat trotzdem 4 Sterne verdient
Excellent media management utility
{tags} is a great recent addition for being able to identify something like “Directors Cut” for example and being able to take a file with similar extensions, then move it into its own subfolder saved me so much time doing it. Excellent app couldn’t use anything else!
Fantastic timesaver - very intuitive.
After renaming files by hand doing the ugly cut and paste method and wasting countless hours to manage my Plex library, I thought there must be a better way. After a short search, FileBot came to the rescue. Super easy to use, pick the directory, load the files in to FileBot, pick the online database you’d like to use, FileBot will then show you a preview of the renaming, if you are satisfied, click on the Rename button and you are done. Works 99% of the time and the 1% that FileBot failed, I picked a different online database and it was all fixed. If they had a trial version they probably would sell a lot more copies but trust me, FileBot is absolutely worth the price.

Doesn’t always find stuff, but it can usually be coaxed into making things work. Absolutely can’t use Plex without it.
Buy it.
