Movie Writer
Love it but its driving me Crazy...
I just purchased this sofeware two days ago and I was really loving it because it makes the writing process so much easier and faster. Its like a film making class. It asks you questions to help you dig deep and ogranize your thoughts. They help you analyze other films in order to know what you need for your own. When youre ready to write, you type in the characters names and locations and all you have to do is hit a hot key and a lists popup and you easily enter it into your screen play. Everything was going great until the program suddenly crashed and the pages of dialouge and notes that I was working on, and did not save, disappeared. Unlike Windows Word Documents there was no auto-save. So I had to type everything all over again, only this time saving the document after every other word, but it continued to crash when I tried to copy and past or delete dialogue. Lastly, I tried to export my screenplay into a PDF file, just in case the program decides to crash and not reopen or something crazy like that, but the instead the program continues to crash. Very frustrating and starting to seem very unrealiable. Fortunately, I was able to save a word document file, but oh the pain...
