If you are a complete beginner, or doing a level one/elementary class and would like to improve your receptive skill, this app will help. To aid improvement, the tests get a little faster throughout, and names/words are as random in length as when finger spelt to you in real life settings. Practice until all letters feel familiar. Try spelling your name, family names, etc. Once you feel comfortable spelling yourself, start test one. If you already know the alphabet, skip to test one. You will need a pen and paper. After each word is spelt, press pause and write it down. If you don’t catch the whole word, write down the letters you do see. Each test has a replay so you can fill in any missing words or letters. After each replay are the answers in written English.
