The fishfinder - gives an overview of 180 European fish species and marine creatures, in 25 European languages. 
Wherever you may be in Europe, fishfinder enables you to find and communicate the correct name simply and quickly. It is written for travellers, anglers, fish-lovers, gourmets, fish retailers, fish wholesalers and linguists.

 On their culinary travels, both man and fish cover many miles - and wherever the fish is found, the name is different: the German Seeteufel is a Rape in Spain, while in England it is Monkfish, and Finland a Merikrotti. Fishfinder was developed so that gourmets, anglers and nature-lovers can always and immediately have the correct name at their fingertips. The graphic presentation needs very little space to present 180 fish species found in European waters and in the 26 languages found on this continent... Never again, will the wrong species of fish arrive on the restaurant table!

 The App contains:
 - A taxonomic illustrated presentation of 180 fish species and marine animals. 
- The common names of each species in 25 languages, plus the generic Latin (list of languages below).
 - Each individual species is described with typical length and weight, together with graphical description of geographical distribution, ecological niche, cross section and feeding.
 - A total of approx. 8,000 fish names. 
- A quick-finder function in all 25 languages, plus the Latin name.
 - Intuitive page turnover and targeted search.
 - A full register of fish names for every language. 
- Favourite languages (e.g. for a particular journey) can be repositioned in the register. The chosen language then appears uppermost in the browser list (e.g. users mother tongue). 

This App requires no Internet link.
