Fire pump operators can use this application to help learn, understand and review friction loss calculations for fire pump operations.
Build simple or complex hose lines with multi - diameter hose, appliances and various nozzle types. Suggested pump discharge pressures and friction loss are displayed and updated live as you build and adjust your hose lines.
U.S. gallons, hose diameters in inches, hose lengths in feet and pressure is in pounds per square inch.
Create and use your own custom friction loss coefficients.
