MacDesktop,
My teachers shouldve just given me this app when I was growing up

This app is amazing. I never memorized my times tables in school, but with this app, I learned all of the more difficult problems in less than an hour; Im even starting to memorize much larger numbers now. This app is simple, fast and easy, it saved me loads of time insted of having to write out my own flash cards. I wish I had this app when I was in elementary school because I totally would have my math down. Also, the timer gives me an incentive for me to work faster and faster. I wish that there was like a Time Trial mode to race against!

Needs Improvements

Needs an option to practice two or three signs at the same time. For example, Addition and Division, instead of all of them or one of them. Also, when you get a card wrong, it should show a red square on the bottom. Or, if you get it wrong one time, yellow square, get it wrong twice, red square. Right now, it looks like youve gotten all of problems correct, but in reality, you missed 34. Also, needs an option to practice only 10 or 25 facts instead of 50. Speech recognition never works, but thats not the apps problem. Ill change my rating once these features are added.(one extra star for each one of the above added)

Speech Recognization Does Not Work.

Sppech recognization does not work. I needes to be fixed.

Love It!!!

I LOVE this program! My son is supposed to practice certain groups of math facts, and Ive found almost NOTHING out there that does JUST the 6s or JUST the 7s. It would be nice if you could mix the addition and subtraction together, and perhaps the multiplication and division together. I love the timer options and how it tells you how long you took at the end. My son is supposed to be able to do 100 problems in five minutes. This allows him to get some practice in on his own. In addition, the program includes sums up to 20. It has been difficult to find a good program (or even a worksheet online) that does that. This was SO worth the 99 cents! Oh. . . we havent been able to get the speech recognition to work. Thats the only reason that I gave it four stars instead of five. I still LOVE the program! (Oh. . . so does my second-grade son!) :)

Neither bad nor good

I have been looking for the perfect arithmetic flash card program. I am still looking, but I have been using this one. My children seem to like the interface and they keep coming back for more even when I dont require them to be on it. I like the fact that I can have my children practice arithmetic at various levels. I like the fact they have to enter the correct answer before moving on to the next card. Nonetheless, it would be much better if the program tracked the number of errors made during the study of a set of cards (both the total number of errors and the number of different cards for which there was at least one erroneous entry made). Actually, the addition of any way to record progress by a player/student within the program would be good.

very good for beginners

just uploaded this app today and my son already spent about an hour playing with it. as he went through the levels even he noticed he was doing it faster. Its not easy to convience a 6 year old to sit down and do some math, so I am very happy. I agree that I would like to be able to mix in addition and subtraction (later on multiplication and division) but even with this format I think its a great app for a beginner.
