Description

In the early 1300s, Florence flourished as a center of artistic production, especially in painting and manuscript illumination. Experience the dynamic climate that set the state for the Renaissance through stories about seven objects. The interactive app features slide shows, animations, X-ray and ultraviolet photography, and pan and zoom functionality. This app was created in conjunction with the exhibition Florence at the Dawn of the Renaissance at The J. Paul Getty Museum, Getty Center, November 13, 2012 to February 10, 2013, and at the Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto from March 16 to June 16, 2013. THE GETTY is a registered trademark of the J.
