Description
Fluency Timer is an adjustable timer that automatically records students fluency readings for playback and sharing. Just press record and the app will automatically stop at the end of one minute (or whatever time you select). Its simple enough for even students to use it. At the end of the recording, name your file and play it back or delete it from the built in library.
This is the iOS version of our popular desktop application.
Upgrade to this version of Fluency Timer for an ad-free experience and add the ability to transfer files to your desktop or try Fluency Timer Free (available in iTunes).
Research has proven that having students listen to themselves reading increases reading fluency speed. Use this app to have students listen to themselves, playback recordings for parents, or review fluency assessment data.
Teachers and parents can use fluency passages that are already a part of their education program or use hundreds of free passages downloadable from the Resources section of the Fluency Timer support site. www.fluencytimer.net
