Excellent! Well worth it! Best fly tying app so far.
Excellent Fly Tying App
Of course, Charlie Craven is not only a master fly tier; he is an excellent instructor. This will be handy to have at the fly shop to buy materials and on the water to tie up a quick fly to match the hatch.

As always, Charlie Craven produced a great fly tying demo. His demos are always perfect and in great detail. The only issue, and a huge one, this app is way tooooo expensive. 4.99 to puchase and then you only get the recipe. If you want the video to demo how tie, it cost more. A total waste of money specially when you can get the videos on you tube for FREE! I am very disappointed and will take my business to Anglers All.
Hidden fees
No information was given about paying extra for most of the demo videos and step by step instructions. $0.99 a demo is pretty steep. Very disappointed.
Great App
The app includes the video and step by step instruction for 10 flies - up to 30 more can be purchased at $.99 each - seems like a fair price to me. The videos are great, and the step by step instructions include audio commentary. Two thumbs up!
This Is a really great ap
Im not one who usually takes the time to write a review, but really wanted to express my appreciation for a very well thought out application that is easy for an old guy like me to use. The navigation is simple & intuitive and the information provided is top notch quality, straight forward and isnt loaded with a bunch of nonsense filler. Ive been tying flies for years and although I am familiar with most of the ones that are in the basic package, have found a couple new choices that are new to me and Im excited to tie & fly them on the water. Thank you, this is a very nice ap and has refreshed my interest in downloading aps again as Ive been getting tired of all the junky & trashy aps that seem to now take up so much space in the ap store.
Decent, but room for improvement.
The app is pretty good. Good, quality flies tey show but heres what i think needs to be done, they need to add more flies on there! They have a decent amount but even then thats not very many flies. They also need to have BASS FLIES! Some of which would include poppers, mice, swimming frogs, etc. Different things like that. And one more BIG THING. the videos are terribly slow and take forever to load. Oh and one more BIG THING. EVERY fly should atleast have the step-by-step option and no we customers should not have to pay for them. The videos, fine, they can be payed for (their so slow i never try to watch them anyway!). If it had those flaws fixed, i would definitely give it 5+ stars
