Description
Footdog is an app designed to help users monitor their surroundings and manage everyday safety by detecting and recording environmental noise.
Using the smartphone’s microphone, Footdog continuously measures ambient sound levels. When noise exceeds a user-defined decibel threshold, the app plays an audible alert and can automatically record video of the situation for later review. This allows users to become aware of unexpected noise events and keep a clear record when needed.
Footdog is suitable for managing apartment noise issues, monitoring living environments for people who live alone, and supporting daily safety awareness at home. Recorded videos and sound data are stored within the app and can be easily reviewed and managed by the user.
To provide these features, Footdog requires access to the microphone and camera. All recorded data is stored locally on the device and is not shared or transmitted without the user’s consent.
