I was very excited for this app, however I am disappointed. It would be nice to be able to put conference notes down as you are working with a student. The cues are good, but how about some more "next steps" or suggested mini lessons? For 9.99, and being Fountas and Pinnell, there is not much here.

This app is great! Very easy to keep by my side for LLI and GR groups and refer to quickly and without distracting the group. The hard copy of the Prompting Guide was great, but this adds an element of ease. I disagree with the previous comment, this is a $10 goldmine of exemplary teaching language that brings great benefits and consistency to practice. I feel that I got more than my moneys worth, for sure. I dont feel the need for the app to offer room for writing notes, as I think the intent is using it to prompt reading behavior during fast paced, directed lessons to keep students moving, reading, working. Thanks to Heinemann for this app, much appreciated!

This app seems useless. I cannot even get it to work. It should be a free PDF download. I tried to contact the developer website, but the address is invalid.

I almost didnt purchase this app due to the one unfavorable review. As an assistant teacher who uses F & P every school day, I really hoped this app would work. I decided to give it a try after seeing that the support tab connects as it should. I am very happy with the app. It works well and having the prompts and information so available is a big help during my guided reading groups.

Good start but I hope there is more to come! A tracking chart would be great...ability to progress monitor rate/fluency.

This is the worst app I have ever purchased! It is not worth $.99, so the $10.00 fee is outrageous. Fountas and Pinnell and Heinemann need to reexamine their product and produce an app that can truly help teachers help children! Shame on them for charging anything for this! The information is minimal and basic.
