You can manage and create any kind of group, manual group, smart group, favorites group, alphabetic search and numerical search on the fly very easily. An automatic Recents group is also available.
Email and message sending is also available.
It can be used very efficiently on iPad (and iPod) to organize groups and make any contact search.
