Cant actually apply to specific areas

The filter applies to the entire image area. The example photos are misleading, as even in the paid version you cannot select just part of an image to be Galaxy.

I like your idea, and result sometimes, but its not really comfortable to scale layer with galaxies. Please can you add an option to resize galaxy with just two fingers? And an option to make it smaller not only bigger.

The filters used you can move around. BUT THEY CAN NOT BE RESIZED OR ROTATED OR FLIPPED. You are STUCK WITH ONE HUGH SIZE!!!! Not worth the 99 cents plus tax. Glad I got it for free because you are literally STUCK WITH THE SIZE YOU ARE GIVEN! Maybe they devs need to work on this, its not "BAD" it just need to be work on more!! Make it better at this rate its more or less made for a grade school kid to play with.
