Description

Note: You will need a fisica device such as Wahoo Fitnesss Wahoo Key to find and program geocache beacons. Find and program geocache beacons such as the Garmin Chirp™! This tool will use a supported fisica device plugged into your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad to read and write beacon data. Just get close to the beacon! You can locate some beacons using Groundspeaks geocaching.com web site. Just search for nearby geocaches that have the "wireless beacon required" attribute. This application has been tested with Wahoo Fitnesss Wahoo Key and Wahoo Bike Case.

Cette petite application est bien sympa pour le geocaching dans le cas de la recherche de balises sans fil CHIRP. Par contre, vous aurez besoin dacheter le petit module ANT+ qui va bien pour utiliser cette application. Il y a parfois des bugs et il faut redémarrer lapplication, mais dans lensemble, cela fonctionne bien !!!

App is tested and works as expected. You have to get close to the wireless beocon (~3 meters), but guess thats related to the Wahoo Key. Four stars Techl

I love the app but made the hint too long and lost programming access to my first chirp. Looking forward to getting a fix for this.

Works great with Wahoo ANT+ key for my iPod Touch 3rd generation

I bought this, a Wahoo ANT+ key for my iPod Touch 3rd generation and a Garmin Chirp. It connected up right away. This was a lot cheaper than buying a Garmin GPSr just for chirp caches since I already had the iPod.

Exactly what I needed for chirp caches

So far, Ive done at least 12 chirp caches with this device. The only problems Ive encountered have been low battery power on the chirp device I was looking for. This has done a great job for what I bought it for ... chirp caches on my iPhone with a fiscia key. A whole lot more affordable than a new GPS unit!
