Two game modes
Champion mode - Each round is time pressured, you need
to collect coins to progress to the next round. Garner as much points as you can as you progress on each round. The points acquired will determine your Geography avatar, There are 30 Avatars from Hermit to Politician to Gifted Child to ultimately the Geo Champ!
Relax mode - No time pressure, You can play each of the 8 rounds, Rounds are unlocked in Champion mode. In Relax mode you can take your time polishing and preparing for the Champion mode and eventually claiming geography supremacy.

Challenging fun and educational
Hate this
Relax (!) mode makes you identify flags. You obviously cant move on until you get them all correct - flags arent exactly geography now are they? Many look alike and dont depict any aspect of the country. Boring and frustrating. Still hate this game. Finally moved from flags to maps. Apparently didnt score enough there...it bumped me back to flags. Are you trying to drive us crazy or what??? I give up!!!

Very engaging, if you can overcome your initial failures.
Best game ever
This is very similar to another (now discontinued) geography game which shall remain nameless... Anyway, its a wonderful game that quizzes you on flags, shapes of countries, capitals and locations. Excellent graphics and format. I play this all the time to test myself and beat my own score. Im now at "genius" level. Wish there were a way to play against friends but thats my only gripe.
